ABOUT GRIFFIN Where did you grow up? I grew up near Kamm's Corners, in Cleveland. When I started high school, my family moved to Brunswick (AKA Brunstucky, AKA B-wick). How long have you been with DS Architecture? I've been with DSA since November of 2015. Favorite project and why? I haven't put in a lot of time on it yet, but I am really excited for the Brady Leap project. We are working with a client who is not only trained in architecture, but is truly motivated to give back to his community. Having a client like that is rare. Favorite hobby or past time? I would have to say playing the guitar. Also, long walks on the beach and sharing my feelings. Favorite Quote? "Hello. My name is Ingo Montaya. You killed my father. Prepare to die." My family owned the movie Princess Bride on VHS when I was a kid; I'm pretty sure we watched it until it broke. If you were any animal, what would you be and why? I'd choose to be a bear, but I would be comfortable as any large, mammalian apex predator. As for why, bears always look like they are having a good time. Additionally, smashing into a beehive to steal the honey is a personal goal of mine. What super power would you have? I would want the ability to read minds, both human and animal. What was your favorite vacation spot? I spent a week in Londonderry, Ireland, when I was studying abroad in Florence. It was a fantastic time, and the country absolutely lives up to its reputation. Do you have any pets? I have two dogs. They are shepherd-lab mixes from the same litter, and have completely opposite personalities. Lulo is a chunky clumsy doofus. Her preferred greeting is a head butt, followed by a lick. Sophia is thin, fast, and neurotic. Her preferred greeting is to run up to you, bark, then run in a circle around the house. After a few rounds of that, she calms down. My dogs are hilarious, and I love them.
